SCHOLARSHIPS
“To whom much is given, much is required”. it is with great honor that legal advocate solutions rolls out the first set of scholarships to empower, encourage, facilitate, and support first-generation latin american immigrants and their children in furtherance of their educational pursuits.
As a first generation Mexican-American, Attorney Veronica Campos was inspired by her immigrant parents and their their relentless work ethic, perseverance, humility, generosity, and love of this country. Her father, a skilled auto mechanic, often worked side jobs in the evening and on weekends. Her mother returned to school, barely speaking english, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education to teach Spanish, then went on to earn a Master’s degree in educational administration. Their legacy instilled in their children that defeat is never an option. Triumph over adversity, even when you must take detours and jump many hurdles to reach your goals.
